There are multiple vulnerabilities in Google Chrome, the most severe of which allows an attacker to execute code in the context of the browser. Affects versions prior to 100.0.4896.88:

CVE-2022-1364, a previously undisclosed vulnerability currently being exploited in the wild, was also patched. Affects versions prior to 100.0.4896.127 and any Chromium-based browser:

Google published a new update for Chrome (version 99.0.4844.84) on Friday, March 25, with an update to address a single security vulnerability. The zero-day flaw, CVE-2022-1096, is identified as high severity.
Other browsers, such as Microsoft Edge, are built upon Chromium, the open-source codebase behind Chrome, and they must be updated, too.
Other affected browsers include Amazon Silk, Brave, Opera, Samsung Internet (bundled on its Galaxy smartphones), Vivaldi and Yandex.
